GEOELECTRIC TESTS
OPTIMIZATION OF INJECTIONS WITH GEOELECTRIC TESTS
Thanks to this technology of geoelectric surveys we can investigate the soil object of our intervention by measuring its resistivity to identify the best position of the injection points and the optimal amount of resin to be injected at each point, ensuring the homogeneity of the treatment. The method consists in performing immediately after the first injections, called calibration, a 2D or 3D electrical tomography of the area affected by the injections, identifying the volume of soil influenced by each individual injection. A localized variation in resistivity allows to identify the region of soil that has suffered the effects of resin expansion.
Purpose of the application:
- optimize the injection mesh.
- search for cavities, macro-voids or leaks/infiltration of water for the design or extension of an intervention.
