The resins are injected in the fluid state through small holes of 15 - 20 mm, made in the flooring. The injections take place with the resins in the expansion phase and as a first effect they immediately reach the voids, in filling them in.
Continuing with the injection of the resin, in having less possibility to expand into the subfloor, it begins to lift the flooring. The start of lifting is immediately detected by a system of laser level control and it can then be decided whether to continue with the injection in lifting the flooring or to limit the operation to the consolidation of the subfloor.
The degree of lifting can always be controlled with millimetric precision.
In flooring areas where there are no significant voids, the flooring will begin to lift immediately and consumption of material will be reduced.
Flooring whose foundation has been treated with the Uretek Floor Lifting method, has better load bearing properties, stability, thermal insulation and impermeability.
Thanks to the lifting force, which can exceed 50 tons per square metre, it is possible to easily lift the flooring, even in the presence of scaffolding and heavy plant.
As the treatment can cover a sufficiently wide area, the surface lining of the floor slab is not damaged by the lifting, except in rare cases.
In fact, a good concrete slab of adequate thickness can support, in the lifting phase, a deformation of even a few centimetres without breaking.
